Marshall University School of Pharmacy offers a variety of student scholarships, recognizing characteristics such as academic performance, commitment to diversity, leadership, and financial need, and we continue to cultivate additional awards. Donors represent pharmacy professionals and corporations, community leaders, and local philanthropists. Our faculty and staff believe so strongly in supporting your education, that we also have several employee funded scholarships.
Current students fill out one scholarship application. The Office of Student Affairs works with the Student Affairs committee to determine scholarship eligibility based on the information provided in the application. The deadline for all institutional scholarship applications is March 1, 2020. Students will receive notification of scholarships at the Awards Ceremonies in April 2020.
Questions should be submitted to the MU School of Pharmacy Scholarship email at MUSOPScholarships@marshall.edu.

Now Available for Fall 2020
Newly admitted students (Class of 2024) follow a different procedure and timeline and are encouraged to apply for our new need-based scholarships. Only one application is required to be considered for all scholarships and can be found here. Our first consideration deadline is March 1, 2020. Scholarships will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis with the final deadline being June 1, 2020. Please submit any applications or questions to MUSOPScholarships@marshall.edu.
The minimum requirement to apply is a 2.75 cumulative grade point average, and students must have submitted their acceptance letter and enrollment deposit to the Office of Student Affairs to be eligible. Applicants will be scored in several categories: academic, involvement, financial need, and personal essay. Out of state students will be given special consideration due to increased financial hardship.
