WHAT: NETL Energy Seminar

WHEN: Friday, March 31st, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm

WHERE: BE5, Memorial Student Center, Marshall University, 1650 5th Ave., Huntington, WV 25755

On Friday, March 31st, the National Energy Technology Laboratory will be hosting a seminar in BE5 of the MU Memorial Student Center, in cooperation with Aetna Integrated Services, The Marshall University Lewis College of Business, ASHRAE, WVa Electric Supply Company, and the Marshall University Sustainability Department. Dozens of area energy partners will also host information booths during the event.

Students, staff, faculty, members of the community, business owners, and area professionals are all invited to attend.

NETL breakout sessions will be hosted in 2W22, 2E10, 2E28 and 2W16. Topics will include:

  • West Virginia Energy Resources
  • Global Energy Outlook
  • The Business of Energy
  • Research to Reality

ASHRAE and WVa Electric Supply Company breakout sessions will be hosted in BE5.

  • ASHRAE will host presentations on “The Global Push to Near Net Zero Buildings”
  • WVa Electric Supply Company will host a breakout session on “Changes for Indoor and Outdoor Lighting.”

The opening welcome & closing remarks, vendors, guest displays, and the NETL University & Graduate Education booth will be hosted in BE5.

Continental breakfast will be provided at 8:30am, with a light snack at 10am.

Professional Certificate credits will be available.
