Job Description

Design, document, implement, manage and monitor multiple systems in an enterprise network computing and datacenter environment; including architecture, support and maintenance of enterprise storage systems, virtualized environments such as Azure, VMware and HyperV, enterprise operating systems such as Linux and Microsoft Windows Server, enterprise productivity and server/service monitoring tools, and high performance computing clusters.

Design, install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain physical server, storage, networking, power distribution and backup hardware as well as infrastructure related server based applications and services including Active Directory, AzureAD, Office 365, DNSDHCPWSUS, authentication services such as ADFS, Shibboleth, SAML, and Azure.

 

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in IT related field.

 

Required Experience:

4 years related job experience.

Have experience in supporting, administering and configuring MS Office365 related technologies and their integration in a hybridized cloud and on-premise environment; unified communications platforms including Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, Skype for Business and MS Teams.

Good working knowledge of systems configuration, data extraction, reporting, and systems automation using technologies like Ansible and scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Have a good attitude and a willingness to work with other Infrastructure team members and collaborate with outside groups as needed to accomplish projects. Be motivated to research and recommend hardware, software, systems and technologies to aid the team in achieving University goals and service level agreement requirements.

 

Preferred Experience:

Experience designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting other enterprise technologies such as automated forms, SQL, Oracle DB, security and identity management solutions would be a plus.
