Meet the DBA advisory board

Director’s Message

Welcome to the new Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program at Marshall University. Our new DBA program is a testament to the collaboration and hard work of our college’s leadership, faculty, and staff over the past few years. Accredited by AACSB, the Marshall University DBA remains the very first and only DBA program in the state of West Virginia.

The hybrid DBA program is designed for busy working professionals and academics who are looking for convenience and want to further advance their professional careers in business. Specifically, our cohort-based program is designed to help students develop the ability to identify and rectify actual business problems while employing the practice-based research model.

With distinguished and diverse faculty, the Brad D. Smith Graduate School of Business stands firm on quality business education by introducing innovative approaches such as experiential learning and design thinking, importantly bridging the gap between theory and practice.

DBA students will have opportunities of networking with their peers and learning essential research skills during their stay in the program.

Our DBA team and I are here to genuinely help transform your investment to a successful career. We are privileged to serve your educational needs, and I strongly encourage you to explore our DBA website as it contains valuable information.

Thank you.
Doohee Lee, PhD
DBA Program Director and Professor of Management/Health Care Administration
