Since Spring semester, workers were busy at the Lewis College of Business renovating the administrative and faculty offices in Corbly Hall. Originally the offices housed the Dean’s Office and the Advising Center. The renovation was done in three phases. The first phase, which was completed in May 2015 relocated the Advising Center, which is now located on the third floor of Corbly Hall in room 334. The College’s Advisors and their GA’s are now able to provide students more attention and one-on-one interaction in a private and relaxed setting. The second phase, which was done at the end of the summer entailed renovating the old Dean’s Office space on the first floor of Corbly Hall. This renovation provides additional updated space for all College stakeholders to interact. The newly remodeled space now centrally locates Lewis College of Business administrators, including the Dean, his Administrative Assistant, the Associate Deans, the Director of Stakeholder Engagement, and the Instructional Technologist. Upon entering the new space, Corbly Hall room 107, you will be greeted by Molly Robertson. Behind her, is a working area for the College’s GAs. The space also houses a small kitchen area and a new conference room for meetings.

The third phase took place in late summer, and included a facelift of faculty offices on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. All Lewis College of Business faculty offices and hallways were painted, and new lights put in.

You will definitely see a new look at the Lewis College of Business, so please stop by to see for yourself!
