What is Poll Everywhere?
Poll Everywhere is an interactive classroom experience online. This program is a safe platform that provides a way for students to ask questions, participate in group activities, and share insights from their electronic devices. Instructors will be able to ask remote and in-person students where they are struggling anonymously to make a better learning experience. Poll Everywhere to send polls, give quizzes, and create a more active learning environment. More features include recording of participation and collaboration tools.
How Does it Work?
Students
Poll Everywhere gives students the opportunity to participate in class both virtually and in-person. Instructors may use this tool to collect insights from students for educational purposes. Responses can be sent by students through SMS text messages, web browsers, or mobile/desktop apps. It is recommended that students download the mobile apps for regular use. Faculty
Instructors captures multiple perspectives from all students present in the classroom and online to enrich discussions. It also encourages students to apply what they learned from assigned readings, online modules (in the case of a hybrid or blended course), or other homework assignments. This also holds students accountable for their learning. Poll Everywhere data can be easily transferred to Blackboard(learning management system). Visit the Instructor Guide for more information.

How Do I Login?
Students will either be registered by their instructor or required to register themselves. To register go to Signup | Poll Everywhere. It is important that students use their university email rather than their personal email.
Instructors may create their own account with their university email. To create an account go to Intro plan sign up | Poll Everywhere. Contact the IT Service Desk for questions or issues.
